The artist will cover the gallery with her sparkling murals, inspired by Gibran Khalil Gibran's writings, spontaneously instigating Peace, Love, Energy, Inspiration and Contemplation, what the world really needs these days - as she likes to put. The “set up” will be concluded live, during the opening night, as the artist will perform along with a soprano singer, Francesca Scaini, covering the very last wall as a true expression of her spiritual and yet very lively art.

The Malta Pavilion, commissioned by the Arts Council Malta and curated by Hesperia Iliadou, is inspired by the Odyssey. Trevor Borg proposes a reimagined multilayered narrative of ancient creatures and long lost civilisations by exploring an entrapment concealed within a Haven. Outland. Vince Briffa focuses on the indecisiveness of man as he longs to retrace his way to the ultimate Haven, caught between an island’s safety and the peril of sea-crossing. Atlantropa X. Klitsa Antoniou hovers between the past and contemporary conditions of surviving displacement and discontinuity amid conflict, within fluid Mediterranean topographies.
